Consumer Electronics Repair

Consumer ElectronicsConsumer electronics covers all electronics in use by the general consumer.  Most of these products are geared towards the residential and portable markets.

Unfortunately, with ever changing technologies and inexpensive parts being used on many existing electronics, we've become complacent with 'throw' away electronics.  Not realizing the TRUE impact of these useless and cheap options.

PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF ON E-CYCLING - Do your part.

Many consumer electronics are made to be thrown away instead of being repaired, manufacturer's do not make parts available nor schematics to facilitate the repair of their items.  Instead, they'd rather have you throw away the unit, and buy a new one.  Often times, hoping you'll pick up the same brand.

Because of this, we find it harder and harder to repair consumer electronics.  Not only for lack of parts, or support from the manufacturer, but the high cost of repair of these items.  Yes, it's true, many times it is just cheaper to buy a new one than it is to fix an old one.  And for this reason, we find that we cannot support the consumer market much longer.

If you have a consumer electronic item you would like repaired, please contact us first before bringing it down to our shop, or mailing it in for service.  There is a very good chance we wont be able to fix it, but give us a call anyway - in addition, we can help you recycle it properly.
